The idea of the of the ‘good enough’ job came up in conversation recently; a job that pays the bills, causes minimal stress that can be “left at the door” and leaves plenty of time for passions and other pursuits.
In a world of noise that pushes us to chase our dreams, turn passion into work, I wonder if that’s pressure or privilege? For many, work isn’t about dreams or passion, it’s about survival. Maybe a 7/10 job that covers all the needs and some extras isn’t settling…maybe it’s a luxury?
