HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PERSONAL ‘PARADISE’ – PART 1
In this post you’re invited to consider some ideas on how we can begin to move towards obtaining greater clarity and start laying the foundations for a life that truly matters to us individually.
1. Explore what matters
In practical terms we can begin by inquiring what it is that resides in our own view of Paradise that we truly desire by exploring what really matters to us. The more understanding we gain of what’s important to us, the more we can begin to explore ways to start bringing what we desire ‘in the future’ into where we are now.
2. Use Your Imagination
If we tap into our innate ability to use the power of imagination we can view our current situation as a garden where we can start to plant seeds that grow into green shoots that just might grow into tall trees with some nourishment and cultivation! In this way, we are able to begin bringing some of that which exists in the ‘promised land’ into our current experience.
2. Notice what already exists
Developing an ‘attitude of gratitude’ is a game changer that works on many different levels. It supports any endeavours to uncover what really matters to us individually, shifts thought patterns from the past and/or future by creating greater awareness of the present and generates life affirming feelings of appreciation for all that exists in our current reality. Noticing and expressing appreciation for what already exists (big and small) is a gift that supports us to water our garden and help it to grow; ultimately bringing what we want on the horizon into our current space.
4. Take small steps
If we pay attention to want we want, notice what we have then we can start to take action. Committing to taking small action steps towards creating our own personal Paradise in the now, can enhance the sense that what once felt like a far away land is moving a little closer; perhaps living a life that we love is not so far away after all…….
Enjoy the process!
